What’s the opposite of a dinosaur?

Joe uses “mammal”. I think if we mean it in an “age of” or when “blank ruled the earth” sense, it would have to be insects. Because as much as we mammals don’t like to admit it, the age we are living in now is the age of the insects.

Doesn’t it really depend on what measurement is used?  Sheer numbers aren’t everything, if that were the case, then it should really be called “age of the bacteria, or single-cell critters”.
If you measure by mass though, it probably comes out different, yeah?
